Growing up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I was enthralled by nature from a young age. Not until my parents bought me a fish tank - rather than the pet dog I had always dreamed of - did my facination with coastal and underwater world truly cement. 

Since, I've completed my BSc in Biology at Dalhousie University, and MSc at the University of Toronto, with a focus in freshwater conservation and fisheries science. 

When I am not in the field, or knee-deep in research, you can find me snapping photos of local wildlife on citizen science platforms, or drawing to my heart's content!
